Bark'm is probably not like any other business you've probably ever experienced. Starting out as strictly a dog-related business, Taylor Burkum soon realized how many other animals people have and cherish. We are dedicated to the relationship between people and their pets. First and Foremost we offer hand-drawn graphite portraits, as well as a hand-crafted wire sculptures.

Started in July of 2010, Taylor Burkum realized that his love for art and his love for animals could be a great creative outlet for him and a very meaningful business. Taylor doesn't just sketch a drawing. As a matter of fact, he doesn't sketch at all. He takes the character straight from the dog into the portrait. Into the eyes. Eyes are the most important part of defining a unique animal. Several animals can look alike in body and movement, but they all have their own unique eyes. Sort of like a human's fingerprints!

Each portrait is personally and thoughtfully created to make the highest quality product for each client. There is just something incredibly special about an artist dedicating hours upon hours of his time to create a one of a kind life-like portrait. It is a sure way to keep those sweet memories of your beloved pet forever.

*Bring your pet to the studio to get a photo taken OR Taylor will come to your house to take the photo to work from (This is $30). If your dog has passed away you can upload photos on the order form page or snail mail them to the Bark'm studio. (At least 50% of the final price is due when the portrait is ordered)

* Taylor works from the photo given.

* In 6-8 Weeks you have a finished portrait of your beloved dog.

* When the portrait is all done, it is shipped to you to enjoy forever. As simple as that!
